If you are like me and care about the foods you put into your body eating at fast food restaurants can sometimes feel, well…. a little… yikes. That is why we decided to make our “Big Mac” at home. We found this amazing recipe that seems to hit the spot for the burger’s “secret sauce”. Make sure you slather on plenty of it to get the flavor to shine through the burger. We didn’t go for 3 slices of bun, but we did do 2 thin homemade burger patties, finely chopped onions and shredded lettuce. My husband said the lettuce had to be shredded, lol. If the weather is nice outside, I highly suggest grilling the patties. Grilling always adds to the yum factor. Lightly toast the bun and enjoy! We had fun with it and brought the “Big Mac” to our kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp Kraft French dressing
- 4 tsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tbsp finely minced onion
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
Directions
Mix it all together in a bowl, cover and place in the fridge. Let it set for a while to let the flavors mingle. It would be good to let it set for 2 hours to overnight. Take out of fridge and slather on the burger when ready to assemble. Enjoy!
