Dutch Baby Pancakes are so cute and delicious. They are so nice for breakfast or brunch. The smaller version of a Dutch pancake, Dutch Babies are cute and fun and great for a crowd. Just mix up the batter in a blender and pop it in the oven. So easy. Kids will love them too! Top them with loads a delicious fun things like blueberry compote, lemon curd, maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, jam, whipped topping and sprinkles, ice cream, the list goes on. Get creative and have fun with your food. 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp butter, cut into 12 cubes

Directions
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Place muffin tins in oven to preheat.
- Place all ingredients, except butter, into a blender and blend. It will be very liquidy. Let rest in blender for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes take the muffin tins out of the oven and place one cube of 1/2 tbsp butter in each well.
- Pour batter into well on top of butter. It is ok if the butter is not fully melted at this point. Pour each well about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until desired brownness.
- Let cool slightly. Serve warm.
- Top with delicious toppings of choice. (Check out my blueberry compote recipe.)
