This Roasted Bacon Brussel Sprouts recipe make for a yummy side dish. My husband and I often roast veggies and just come up with the seasonings as we go. This is one he made to go with Chicken Scarpariello recently. It was delish. Roasting veggies is so easy too. All you need is the time to let them cook.

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of frozen brussel sprouts
  • olive oil or bacon grease
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp Nature’s seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 2-3 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • crushed red pepper flakes, optional and desired amount
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Cook bacon and save the grease if you wish to use it instead of olive oil. Let bacon cool and crumble it up.
  3. In a oven safe pan add all of your ingredients and toss to combine.
  4. Bake about 30-45 minutes or until the brussel sprouts are cooked through.
  5. Turn oven on broil for just a few minutes until desired crispiness is achieved on the edges of your sprouts.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
  7. Grate some fresh parmesan on top if you wish.
  8. Enjoy!
